POEM ( WRITTEN AT LUNCH) PHOTO BY DAVID CARLO
The walls deep inside open wide
The deep breaths tragically love
There is too much on the table
And why can’t we keep the butter warm.
Like fire the butter melts into my skin
Like happiness we all start and end within.

Venice by David Carlo
It was the first night we had been in Venice, it was a magical feeling for both of us. We arrived for the Art Bianalle, probably the most prestigious art show in the world, to a city designed by a true artist.
We decided to galavant around all night, and felt so safe, calm and inspired. Time did not exist, neither did inhibitions. It was us and a camera. Ready to make art, to take art and to be art.
Opting for the delicate streets of St.Elena, an island that is a 15 min walk from the central St.Marco Square, luckily just a 5 min walk to the Giardini de Bianalle, essentially the garden entrance to the international art pavilions of the world.
We stayed in Venice for a while before returning to Paris, Im not sure how long, but we never like to leave, as we do, already we have planned the next trip back.
